Basic packaging techniques
You need to package your items in a box/carton. Ensure you tape any open edge of the carton to prevent tear or breakage. Fragile items should be wrapped with foam, bubble wrap, or any soft item.

How to weigh your items
After packaging your item, you need to weigh it in order to ascertain the cost of shipping and enable us to prepare the necessary documents for your pickup, shipping, and clearing.
The first step is to understand the types of weight so that you can adequately package your item and submit the right information to us.
We explain the various types of weight below.
Types of Weight
- Actual Weight
- Volumetric/Dimensional Weight
- Billable Weight
Actual Weight
This is exactly what the item weighs including the packaging. To get the actual weight of your item, package the item into an appropriate box, and put it on a weighing scale. Look at the reading of the scale to determine the actual weight.
If your scale is calibrated in another unit of measurement other than kg, you can convert to kilogram (kg) below.
Volumetric/Dimensional Weight
This is the product of the length, width, and height (in centimetres) divided by 5000.
Let’s use the following diagram as an example.
The length, width, and height are 40cm, 20cm, and 50cm respectively.
(40 x 20 x 50) ÷ 5000 =
40,000 ÷ 5000 = 8
Therefore, the volumetric weight of the carton is 8kg.
In case you are using other units of measurement other than centimetres (cm), you can convert them to cm by using the following converter.
Billable Weight
This is defined as the greater weight between actual and volumetric weight. The greater weight is used to calculate the shipping rate.
For instance, if the actual weight of the box above is 5kg while the volumetric weight is 8kg, the billable weight is 8kg.
Therefore, we will issue you an invoice for shipping 8kg.
Pickup scheduling
You need to schedule a pickup at least 24 hours ahead. However, it is more convenient when you extend your pickup time to 48 hours after you submit your request on our website or choose any of the services you want below:
- Import – Send items from any country and deliver them to any state in Nigeria.
- Export – Send items from Nigeria to any country.
Ensure your phone is active within the period scheduled for pickup and 24 hours later. This will enable us to locate you with ease.
Kindly cooperate with your courier, in case you are required to move the item to your gate or any open area within your apartment or lodge. Hand to the courier all the necessary documents which we will send to you.
Feel free to track your package as the journey progresses. The time frame for delivery is 3 – 5 days if you are shipping from one country to another.
